Please read through these rules and regulations so you have a familiar idea of what you're signing up to. Failure to follow the guidelines could result negatively, some even resulting in expulsion.
First and foremost, you must be C-O-M-M-I-T-T-E-D! If you're one of those people that sign up to any ORG you see and never visit again, do not sign up. Period. This game will require you to check the board often in order to keep up with the game. How the game will be scheduled and when you need to be here will be explained below.
SCHEDULING
I run ORGs on what I call "real-time scheduling". Basically what this means is that it closely resembles an actual Big Brother week. All weeks will be 7-8 days in length. I do this so everyone can live their life, people in power can discuss their options, and nominees can campaign to the best of their ability. This also gives ample time for challenges to be scheduled and agreed upon. There will be three challenges that you'll have to complete within the weeks as well. This goes along with paying attention to the ongoings, strategizing, keeping your Diary Room updated, etc. If you cannot handle this, do not sign up. Simple as that.
And yes, obviously this means that game won't be finished in a month. So if you prefer games that finish quick, fast, and easy - this game probably isn't for you either.
CHARACTERS
There is not a certain group of characters, but I do ask that you sign-up as someone from BB2-BB11.
Note that the character you choose is simply an alias and picture base for you in this game. You do not have to be upfront & controversial if you're playing Evel Dick or be quiet & reserved if you're playing Mike. If you wish to roleplay a bit, that's fine. However you act is up to you.
COMPETITIONS
Competitions are, of coarse, a big part of the game. There are three main competitions in the game.
HOH Competition - This weekly challenge to determine the Head of Household. These competitions are usually non-live or in sessions, but they can be live too. Win this challenge and you will earn the right to your own bedroom, a pass off slop, immunity for the week, and more importantly the duty to nominate two people for eviction.
POV Competition - This challenge will have the HOH, the two nominees, and three other houseguests that are randomly drawn. These challenges are usually live and will require you to be here, but other times it might not be. The winner of this competition will have the Power of Veto - the powerful medallion which can save someone from the nomination block, including themself.
RULES & GUIDELINES
Let's get some rules out of the way.
Continuously abusing rules and regulations will put you in line for expulsion and removal from the game. Here is the list of the do nots in Big Brother Arena.
- No cheating under any circumstances. If you're evicted, do not get involved in challenges. Do not share answers with anyone unless told otherwise. Anyone caught cheating in a challenge will be immediately DQ'd.
- Once you are evicted, you are evicted. Period. Do not get involved in the board events or try to help former allies or hinder former enemies. If I find out that you've been affecting game play, you may risk being banned from the board.
- Note that all plans, twists, and competitions are 100% pre-planned. I have it sitting in Housecalls since before I even received my first application. I will never create a twist to benefit someone. While on this subject - claiming this game is rigged and constantly complaining will NOT go over well with me.
- Be wary of personal attacks. I'm usually very lenient on arguing and we've had plenty of intense, obscenity throwing fights in all five seasons. However I don't want to see anyone posting pictures of people or using personal things against someone. This is a game. There is no reason to do that here.
- If I make a mistake in a challenge, please let me know. We're all human and sometimes I may miss something over. I'll give anyone who loses a challenge due to a mistake on my part a chance to appeal the decision.
- Stay active. This is a pretty steady, slow game that will have lots of downtime for you to catch up.
